Before the wedding a lot of things went wrong. If something could go wrong it did. Some family members could no longer make the wedding which was a bummer, but for all good reasons. I picked up my wedding dress from the cleaners and didn't even look it over much until the day before the wedding. That was the biggest mistake ever! The cleaners added a stain on the inside (which didn't have me to heated) but the stain on the back, the hole on the inside and taking out my pleats for the core region made me mad and sad all in the same moment. There wasn't anything I could do about it besides put the dress on and try to ignore their ignorance! We had more opinions than ask for as well that was the most stress being we were up front about a lot of things and people just liked to argue! We had people who completely bailed on us for multiple things and were just ready for the day to take place.
As for the wedding, we had a blast! Andrew looked sooo cute and so did all the other guys. (andrew was the best looking though). It was really nice that Dustin got to have his brothers and one of his friends stand up there with him on our big day.
The girls and I got up early and went and had our hair done, then chilled out for a little before heading over to the church to get dress and do our make up! We had so much fun goofing off in the salon and watching the ladies do our hair. We had even more fun at the church playing in the bathroom with our photographer! I dont have those photos just yet but I cant wait to see them, I hope I love them as much as I loved taking them!
Our Ceremony was short and sweet! Dustin and I were blessed to be able to have Pastor Jeff from the church I grew up in perform the ceremony. Both of us agree it is slightly awkward standing up in front of everyone knowing they are looking at us, even if it was family and friends! I have a video of the ceremony online so for those who couldn't make it they will be able to view it with the correct link.
The reception was held at the Tachi Palace and was a lot of fun. Our D.J didn't Mcee well being people had no idea we were cutting the cake or doing our first dance. Some of that is because people had to use the restroom and wasn't aware it was going to happen, and others just didn't see it happening. I ended up smashing the cake in dustins face first just for fun! Dustin's cousin Brian ended up doing our cake and did an amazing job. It tasted great, and we loved how simple it was. Other than that Dustin was reunited with his old huron baseball guys, and had way to much fun drinking, and dancing. At the end of the night I saw just how amazing my little sister and Dustin's friend were as they total took care of all the last minute things that had to be taken to rooms! Funny part was not many of them were close to sober, so for them to do all they did was awesome!
Tomorrow I will need to post about our honey moon in mexico!!! It def. was a different type of experience! Thank you to everyone who came to share our special day and all the help that was given!
Congrats guys! I SO wish we could have been there! Looks so pretty!
