August has been an extremely busy month for us this year. We decided in January to throw the mil a surprise 50th bday. It was a very hot day, especially since where we live it has yet to reach 80 degrees so basically we are spoiled with beautiful weather. Mark, like Andrew, was very good with his Uncle Jake (he might just be a baby whisper). There were so many extended family members that showed up to help celebrate.
I took the boys on a quick valley trip to meet their uncle robert who currently serves our country and was in town for a short visit. While there Andrew was able to see his bestfriend/cousin Nathan, which when together are TROUBLE! Im starting to think when Mark gets older that is how my two will be together along with their dog.
On August 22, we took the boys with us to attend Matt and Megans wedding reception. Andrew kept telling his dad and I to go dance (he is very bossy, he might have gotten that from me). Mark and Andrew were really good the whole time, which is nice not to be yelling at Andrew to calm down.
Then on August 23, this world loss an amazing woman but gained an angel! Dustin's sweet Grandma Bernice will be missed but we are happy she is in a better place with the Lord. We just went yesterday to her service and were able to see aunts we haven't seen in awhile and meet cousins of Dustins we have never met before. Andrew and Mark were able to see their Grandad and Grandma Susan as well.
Now that August is ending we are hoping September is a little more relaxing. Dustin will be very busy this month with work so we will have to use his days off wisely (having fun with each other). Maybe save for a little family vacation especially since Andrew is obssessed with the disneyland application I have on my phone.
