Fast forward to now and we have a house, cars and more of a routine for the kids. Adjusting to how they do school here has been interesting. Andrew probably is having the hardest time since his classes are block schedule 24/7 so being a boy who is 11 he gets forgetful on turning stuff in. Plus let me tell you the organizational skills I hanve well he just doesnt have nor does he really care to have. Mark on the otherhand is crushing spelling words. He is so different from Andrew in the sense Andrew at a young age was amazing at spelling without trying where Mark with his speech issues fails the pretest. We work all week together and by Friday he gets them all right for his post test.
Dustin has settled just fine and even got to take Andrew out fishing for Mahi. Our Freezer has a lot in it now which is sooo good. As for me I feel my body is slowly breaking. Ive had bad thumb pain but it feels like the bone so I have another follow up appointment. Also I have been dragging and feeling exhausted so woohoo NOT.
Its only been 3 months here in Okinawa and we can say we really do enjoy it and feel blessed for this experience. Plus in december we get Easton Corbin to perform on base so yay.
