North Carolina

It has been so long since i have updated everyone on whats new with us.

First off in october 2016 we sold our house in lovely Lompoc, Ca, and got in the car to our new duty station in North Carolina.  We had to wait over 3 weeks fpr a house on base so life was hectic especially getting here after the destruction of hurricane Matthew! but we managed and got all settled into our new place which this base is awesome and has a lot for the kids...indoor play ground, splash pad, movies, bowling...and the gym for me.

Andrew just completed 3rd grade which he had 2 b's for the whole year so not bad at all 2 quarters all a's and the other had one b each.  North carolina has some weird tests and he passed but def could have done better if he was actually taught the information!  He played baseball, which he has an amazing arm so he played 3rd base and pitched a few innings.  overall he continues to do well and be kind to others so we can complain to much.

Mark went to preschool in NC where he also did speech therapy.  He has come a long way with even more work to still put in to get off his i.e.p.  He will be in a multiage kinder first grade class come fall which means they want parent involvement so im excited over that.  He just had a birthday party and is now 5...he has a small circle of friends which is perfect for him.  he needs boys who can play rough or with toy weapoms and use their imaginations.
